Dr. James Masschaele discusses Juries of the Middle Ages


Dr. James Masschaele discusses his research into European juries during the Middle Ages. He talks about the similarities and differences between those juries and contemporary ones, and offers a few interesting anecdotes about some judgements made my these juries.




Dr. Masschaele is Professor and Chair of the Department of History at Rutgers University and received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
